As you can see, Shelagh McKenna used to be a dancer. In addition to her poetry, she is the author of a history (due next year from Unicorn Publishing), a psychological novel, two screenplays and several short stories, one of which is included in 'The List', a compilation from Twist of Fate Publishing. A Canadian, Shelagh graduated from the University of Toronto with first class honours and currently lives in Vancouver. She has included three of her poems in the Creative Minds collection.
